for your Pastor

Father God,

I lift my pastor to you. I confess according to the Scriptures that the Spirit of the Lord rests upon him/her, the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge.

 I pray that as Your Spirit rests upon him/her, quick understanding and discernment will come with Your anointing.

 I  believe that no weapon formed against my pastor shall prosper; and that You are blessing his/her family abundantly with all spiritual, physical, emotional and financial resources necessary for both their needs and the advancement of the Kingdom.

 Lord, I pray and believe that, each day freedom of utterance is given to boldly and courageously proclaim Your truth. I thank You Lord, for the added strength You are giving.

 I commit to stand behind my pastor and support him/her in prayer. I will say only good things that edify, and not allow myself to judge; but will continue to intercede for and speak blessings upon him/her.
